MD Lock and Key is a family-owned and operated locksmith business based in Clonmel, Tipperary, with 35 years of experience in the security industry. We are a premium professional service provider, delivering the highest levels of security solutions across commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors.
Our state-of-the-art showroom and workshop facility in the Ard Gaoithe Business Park is equipped with the latest computerised key cutting and locksmith tools, allowing us to offer innovative security solutions to our customers.
The Role
We are currently hiring a locksmith to join our retail store and workshop facility in Clonmel.
Key Responsibilities
- Retail sales of security products, locks, safes, and key-related services.
- Lock assembly and precision key cutting.
- Car key cutting and programming.
- Advising customers on security solutions.
- General workshop duties, including safe sales and key duplication.
No experience? No problem!
No formal qualifications are required as full technical training will be provided. Whether you’re experienced or looking for a new career in the security industry, we are committed to helping you develop the necessary skills to succeed.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary Range: €34,000 – €44,000 (negotiable based on experience and performance).
